The Cottage Market is back this Sunday

Our first Cottage Market was everything we hoped it would be. On July 19 the lot filled up with tents, the mountain turned on a perfect morning, and people spent a Sunday buying things their neighbors made by hand.

So we’re doing it again — this Sunday, August 16, 8am–noon.

First, a thank you. Ten vendors said yes to something that had never happened before, which is a genuine leap of faith when you’re the one loading a tent into a truck at six in the morning: CO Woodworm, Crafts Unveiled, Golden Kite Flower Company, Goyish Bagels, Moonrise Art Studio, Papa and Yayas Workshop, Pengu Prints, Poppy & Pine Designs, Reindeer Age Art, and TRAIN Montessori. You made the first one work, and we’re glad you took the chance on us.

Here’s who you’ll find on Sunday:

  • 3 Dogs Studio
  • Aspens creations
  • Better Bakes by Liza
  • Burn Wild
  • CO Woodworm — back from July
  • Crafts Unveiled — back from July
  • Gourmet Delights
  • Handmade By Hai
  • Lazy Bear Woodworks
  • Pengu Prints — back from July
  • Poppy & Pine Designs — back from July
  • Reindeer Age Art — back from July
  • Take One Foods
  • Valerie’s Blossom Stop

Goyish Bagels and Moonrise Art Studio are back with us on September 20, the last market of the season.

And come inside while you’re here. The coffee’s free, and Jane’s behind the bar if your Sunday calls for an Irish cream coffee or an actual morning cocktail.

Vendors — there’s still time, and there’s still plenty of space. If you make something, we’d love to have you, this Sunday or on September 20. It’s $40 per market day, load-in opens at 7am, and you’re packed up by 1pm. Colorado Cottage Foods kitchens, artists, and makers of every kind — candles, soap, woodwork, ceramics, fiber arts, leather, prints, flowers. If you make it, we want it on a table.

Apply here. A real person reads every application, and you’ll hear back quickly — there’s still room for this weekend.

Everyone else: Sunday morning, 8 to noon. Bring a bag.
